Paper Nativity

Message from Carrie Shull:

This project started as an idea to give Spencer a portable nativity for his apartment.  After I finished it, I thought it would make a nice, simple gift for the families in the Plymouth Ward, where he serves.  So, I made copies to send to Spencer to give out at church.  And then I made copies for the girls’ friends, and then the primary kids in my ward.  I am certainly no artist, but  think it turned out pretty cute!  Since everyone seems to like it, I thought I would share it here so you can easily download the pictures.  Please feel free to share and print freely.  I printed them on card stock and if you cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines, it will stand up on its own.

This simple scene, portrayed in this childlike drawing, illustrates the greatest gift we have ever been given — the gift of our Savior Jesus Christ.   The angels sang out “Joy to the World!”  And that is what He is — Joy!

Merry Christmas!  May peace, love, and joy surround you and yours!
